Ms. Kiran Boro is a multifaceted professional from Assam, India, known for her distinguished contributions across social development, arts, culture, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. She currently works as a Production Designer with Artha Films, bringing her vast creative experience to regional and national cinema. A former Class-I Government Contractor with PHE Assam and Financial Advisor with Tata AIG, she also founded the Kiran Foundation in Guwahati, which reflects her lifelong dedication to empowering communities, especially women and rural households. A single mother, Ms. Boro’s journey stands as a testament to resilience, versatility, and purpose-driven leadership.

Deeply involved in grassroots social development, she has worked with numerous NGOs across Assam in areas such as livelihood promotion, women’s empowerment, rural development, and youth capacity-building. Her work has included coordinating major NABARD-supported village development programmes, fishery and nursery village initiatives, and awareness campaigns against social issues such as witch-hunting. She has served as Executive Member, Advisor, and Project Coordinator with multiple organizations, including the Human Resource Development Society of India, Jyoti Sangam Samitee, Human Service Barpeta, and the Sri Sankara Community College. Internationally, Ms. Boro has represented India across 11 countries for cultural exchange, livelihood studies, pageantry, and global forums—highlighting her role as both cultural ambassador and social advocate.

Beyond social work, Ms. Boro is an acclaimed cultural figure with achievements in acting, singing, anchoring, athletics, and film production. She has acted in award-winning Assamese films, produced and designed national award-recognized cinema, and excelled in music and sports at state and national levels. She has earned numerous prestigious accolades, including the Mrs. India Homemakers Classic 2017 title, Mrs. Universe Exquisite 2017 (South Africa), and recognitions for women empowerment from global platforms such as the GTF World Summit. As a jury member in multiple national and international beauty contests and cultural events, Ms. Kiran Boro continues to inspire through her dynamic presence, artistic excellence, and unwavering commitment to promoting culture, talent, and community development in India and beyond.
