Dr. Jyoti Malik

Dr. Jyoti is a dedicated academician and administrator who firmly believes in the philosophy “Each One Uplift One.” She has been serving as the Women Cell Convenor at Government College for Women, Gurawara, for the past four years, where she actively leads awareness and empowerment initiatives for girls from rural backgrounds. Her work focuses on critical issues such as women’s empowerment, environmental awareness, legal rights, personal hygiene, and road safety, contributing meaningfully to social development through education.

Alongside her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Jyoti is deeply involved in institutional and administrative activities. She is associated with various committees including the Sports Advisory Committee, GeM portal management, and ITI Apprenticeship programs, playing a vital role in strengthening academic governance and student development. Her commitment to holistic education extends beyond the classroom, ensuring that students receive both academic knowledge and life skills essential for personal and professional growth.

Dr. Jyoti also serves as an Executive Committee Member of the IIT Delhi Alumni Association, where she contributes to impactful initiatives such as “She Inspires” and the publication of alumni newsletters. Known for her motivation, dedication, and readiness to serve society, she consistently works towards the upliftment of women, youth, and the environment. Through her academic leadership and community engagement, Dr. Jyoti continues to inspire positive change and inclusive progress.
