Bhavya Raj Arora is the Founder and CEO of New Thought Therapist, a social enterprise working to expand access to quality mental health support and simplified psychoeducation. A TEDx speaker, she is an internationally trained psychotherapist from India, the USA, and the Netherlands and is currently the youngest practicing Transpersonal Regression Therapist in the world! A wonderful therapist, Bhavya is an equally brilliant trainer and is a well-known Global Competence and Intercultural Learning trainer internationally!
In just two years of its inception, her organization New Thought Therapist has created projects with significant impact including CONFLUENCE: India Comes Together for Mental Health. Bhavya designed and facilitated the month-long virtual event with her team bringing together six social impact organizations working in the space of community mental health including Mental Health Foundation India, United Nations Volunteers India, Suicide Prevention India Foundation, Youth for Peace International, and You're Wonderful Project. The event engaged over 15 professionals and held diverse conversations around mental health and its intersectionality with other areas, engaging 1000+ individuals in many conversations. The highlight was its campaign #IndiaWalksForMentalHealth which encouraged meaningful movement and active steps toward mental health wherein India walked 22.3 Million steps towards Mental Health.
Bhavya is also a QPR-certified suicide gatekeeper and a digital marketeer in training! Having worked with various organizations ranging from United Nations to Rotary International, AIIMS, Mental Health Foundation India, and more, she holds a rich experience in field and clinical work. Bhavya currently provides mental health services at her private practice and consults as a trainer and mental health specialist with various start-ups and social impact organizations.
