Ar. Akanksha Modi is an Architect–Planner and the State President of the SMART & Sustainable City Council, Rajasthan, WICCI. With a strong foundation in urban planning and sustainability, she is deeply committed to building future-ready cities through education, awareness, and inclusive design thinking.

She brings over 8 years of experience in the education sector and nearly 15 years of extensive fieldwork, working closely with students, educators, and professionals. Akanksha has conducted 20+ workshops for higher-education teachers, focusing on capacity building, sustainable education systems, and nurturing self-driven students and professionals. Her work emphasizes empowering educators and learners to adopt sustainability as a core mindset rather than a compliance requirement.

An environmentalist at heart, Akanksha also explores sustainability through creative expression. Her photography offers fresh perspectives on everyday built environments, encouraging people to observe, reflect, and rethink the relationship between architecture, nature, and human life. Through leadership, education, and creative engagement, she continues to champion smarter, more sustainable urban futures.
