Nandini Sen is a dynamic and accomplished professional with 20 years of distinguished service in the Indian Army, bringing deep expertise across operational leadership, security management, intelligence, human resources, and training. An engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication, she has further strengthened her leadership and business acumen through the Business Management Programme at IIM Bangalore (2024) and is currently pursuing an MSc in Environmental Science, reflecting her growing focus on sustainability and responsible development.

During her military career, she held several pioneering roles, including becoming the first woman officer to serve as an instructor in investigative techniques at the Corps of Military Police Centre and School. She trained over 300 senior officers, officers from multiple foreign armies, and the first batch of women combatants in the Indian Army. Her instructional and operational assignments at premier institutions such as the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering significantly enhanced training standards, while her leadership in crisis zones—including Jammu & Kashmir during the Balakot strike and the abrogation of Article 370—demonstrated exceptional crisis, risk, and intelligence management capabilities.

Recognized with prestigious honors such as the CISC Commendation Card, GOC-in-C ARTRAC Commendation Card, and service medals for counter-insurgency operations, Nandini Sen has also made substantial contributions to HR management and organizational effectiveness, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, workforce morale, grievance redressal, and performance outcomes. She has led large teams, managed high-risk security operations, handled investigations including crimes against women, and chaired Internal Complaints Committees as the senior-most female officer. Her career stands as a powerful example of leadership, resilience, inclusivity, and strategic excellence in complex and high-stakes environments.
