Naina Jamakhandimath, Director for Growth and Partnerships is responsible for strategising growth plans and building partnerships to exponentially increase the presence of Matific in the country. She also drives the sales strategy, creating meaningful opportunities and contributing to the ambitious expansion plan. She has been a part of Matific since May 2021 and has been relentlessly working towards achieving the vision of positioning the brand as the Best Math Learning program for the K-6 segment in India. The program intends to have children enjoy learning conceptual maths, thereby honing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Naina pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She started her career as a Life Skills Facilitator, eventually treading towards her entrepreneurial journey as a Director of a company called EduMedia. With various roles of managing projects, publishing, handling events, content/curriculum development and designing, she has worked on some of the well-appreciated projects like Horlicks Wizkids, Mentor Magazine and School Cinema. Her 15 years of work experience in EduMedia honed her skills that gradually propelled her towards the India Didactic Association as a Chief of Strategy and Partnerships. She was responsible for handling various educational projects in Bangalore and liaison with the Government and stakeholders of the education fraternity. To diversify her career path, she joined Wheebox, an online assessment brand working with the HR teams of different companies and educational institutions while creating and delivering assessment solutions. She was responsible for international partnerships and helping create various revenue streams within the company purview. After her extensive experience with the renowned names, she joined Matific to reconnect with her passion and being a part of a company that focuses on students and their learning curve. As a Life Skills Facilitator, she has also been facilitating sessions in government schools and also participating/delivering projects in NGO run schools, Home for the aged and schools for the blind. Naina, in the course of her professional journey, has won several accolades on numerous platforms. Under her leadership and guidance, the Program Design Department at School Cinema (a film-based learning module) won National Awards for films and have been represented at 40+ international film festivals. Her position as a Publication Manager at Mentor Magazine was also rewarded as her efforts contributed to the magazine winning WorldDidac Awards, India for Best Educational Magazine. Besides work, Naina has a keen interest in photography and has travelled to various countries capturing diversity of cultures, wildlife and habitats.
