My name is Anushka, I’m a law student and a proud feminist, I am also a published author of two books, one of which got published in 16 languages around the globe – “Criminalization of Marital Rape in India:- A Distant Dream”, Having said that I have been conferred with The Young Researcher Scholarship Award, I am also the founder of an organization called NAARI which distributes sanitary napkins to women in the Rural Areas of the country free of cost in order to reduce period poverty and creates awareness in the Urban India in order to tackle stigmas related to human rights. My determination to work for my people specially the women is unparalleled, I strive to contribute a little more everyday and that’s exactly what I aim to do through this Council.
